We have been to Bonaire, cruise port exactly one time, and Russell and I talk about it like it is our most favorite place. We were there a few years ago actually on my birthday.
We were on the Crown Princess, which we have cruised on twice, I will review the ship on this blog at some point.
We walked around Bonaire and shopped a bit, and ended up heading to a beach. We loved the beach. The water was so nice – well really most water in the Caribbean is very nice – but we liked how shallow it was. Bonaire is known for snorkeling, but as you can see we did not do that. We will next time we go.
You can see in this picture how shallow the water was. Russell loves to just be in the water….just being in it. I burn easily and you will see me in the shade A LOT. You can actually see where my sandals had give me weird tan lines on my feet!
