On our recent trip to Los Angeles we stayed at the DoubleTree Monrovia-Pasadena Area. I chose this hotel because I knew the event we were attending at the Irwindale Speedway wouldn’t end until 11 PM and I didn’t want to travel far to the hotel. The hotel is in a nice area and located just off the freeway. There is a nice selection of dining options within walking distance, which is a great convenience. I always like DoubleTree hotels because obviously…the cookies. We had a little time to tour around before the event so we stopped by the hotel to check it out and see if by chance a room was ready. There wasn’t but they were so nice and made a note that we would have a late check in.
The lobby is very nice with a very clean design. We arrived back just before midnight and the check in was very quick and of course they gave us the wonderful cookies.
The room was such a nice surprise. It was roomy with a sleek modern design. I love that the beds were low and very comfortable!
They have a nice pool outside and gym.
