I’ve been to Las Vegas many times and I’ve even stayed at The Flamingo Hotel & Casino years and years ago but I’ve never been to the wildlife habitat!
To be honest I didn’t even know it was there until I was researching free things to do in Las Vegas when I was planning our summer road trip.
I am so thankful that we went to visit the wildlife habitat though! We went on the High Roller Observation Wheel which is right near the Flamingo Hotel, then we got some ice cream at Sprinkles and then went to the wildlife habitat.
It’s hard to believe that this serene park is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas.
It was so relaxing and quiet (for Las Vegas standards) and it was cooler strolling underneath the shade trees.
The ducks, fish and flamingos were great to watch.
The park is located near the pool and is right off of the casino also.
The next time you are in Las Vegas and want to slow things down for a little bit take a stroll through the wildlife habitat.
I love the outside of the Flamingo hotel! Just look how cheerful it is!
