Years ago Kerry and I toured Inner Harbor of Baltimore. During this trip we wanted to see some new things so we checked out Fell’s Point.
It is a beautiful waterfront historic neighborhood. There are so many restaurants, bars and warehouse lofts!
Not to mention the H&S Bakery, Inc. which we kept passing over and over since we got turned around a few times. I think my GPS is trained to follow the scent of food. The bakery is really a huge factory / warehouse or something where the smell of fresh bread just literally floats in the air around it. I don’t even love bread that much but the smell was divine.
A lot of the streets in Fell’s Point are cobblestone and beautiful to look at but not so fun to drive or walk on!
We really wanted to eat at this restaurant because balls are always amusing. Just check out the menu…you can get a bowl of balls! They weren’t open though!
I’m a huge fan of historic buildings so I was like a kid in a candy store in Fell’s Point!
We were curious about this building that had “Make Some Bad Decisions” on the awning! I just googled it and it was a well-known bar that has moved locations. I looked up the new location and we passed it a couple of times while we were there but the new sign just had flames that said “Make Some”. We kept wondering make some what?!? We never put two and two together. Now we know for our next visit.
While we were walking around we asked a very nice local lady for a good lunch spot and she told us to visit Papi’s Taco Joint.
It’s a small local restaurant and bar with good tacos!
Kerry and I both liked the ordering system for the tacos! That was Kerry’s order above and she loved it!
I ordered the corn and loved it! I wish I had just ordered more corn instead of tacos but you know I ordered tacos also!Kerry noticed that all of their plates are Fiestaware!
The restaurant was nice and the service was quick. The majority of the people were on the bar side of the restaurant so we had this side to ourselves!
If you are in the Baltimore area I would recommend going to Fell’s Point to spend the day! We would love to plan your trip to Baltimore and the surrounding areas! Contact us today at: fabulousindeedvacations@gmail.com
