We cruised on the Crown Princess a few years ago. The first port was The Caribbean Island – Princess Cays which is the cruise line’s private resort on the Island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
The resort has white sandy beaches, colorful bungalows, local craft markets and plenty of water sport options. We booked one of the bungalows for the day. It was so worth the money to have our own little place to hang out for the day. It was air conditioned with a table and chairs inside.
It had four beach chairs and a few floats also. It’s towards the end of the resort in a quiet area. The beach area directly in front of the bungalow was nice but not very big.
Lunch was complimentary but the water sports or other excursions cost extra. My daughter had her hair braided on the beach. It was nice to sit and talk for an hour while her hair was being done.
I enjoyed Princess Cays much more than I thought I would. If you go be sure to reserve the bungalow! On this cruise we also visited Aruba and Curacao which were amazing also!
